Why Should the Mediterranean Diet Work?

Most diets fail in the medium term!

It is inded true that diets nearly always fail in the medium term. Estimates for the failure rate vary between 80% and 90%, which is discouraging.

The Mediterranean diet is not a diet in that sense. It is not an  -  often drastic  - restriction of food and drink consumed. Such diets do indeed usually fail.

Reducing weight is not an insoluble problem!
